The quickest and easy way to pay is using a credit card, the sooner its paid the sooner I can send your goods to you.

The second option is to pay by cheque. I can only accept Euro cheques, NOT uk pounds or us dollars. Once the cheque is cleared in my account, approx 5 days, I will post your item.

People are very aware of fraud and crime on the Internet and so am I personally. I know it is very worrying to enter your credit/debit card details into a website as you have no idea what will happen to this information once it leaves your computer.

So this web sites uses the well known payment provider PayPal

Paypal takes the payment, only at your request, not us.

The way it works, without getting too technical, is when you go through the payment process on the web site, you will be asked for your billing and shipping addresses, then the site will transfer you to the payment provider (Paypal). It is on their website, not ours, where you will enter the payment details. You are then returned back to our site. At the same time Paypal will then let our website know if the payment was accepted or not.

You will also recieve an email from Paypal and Sugarpolo Crafts letting you know that the payment has been made and is ready to be confirmed by Sugarpolo's Crafts. This means at no point will myself or anybody else involved in the Sugarpolo's Crafts website or business, ever see your card details. The only information we have, is your address to post the item to, the amount of money that you paid and if the payment has cleared so we can now post your item.

This is so you can have complete trust in buying items from Sugarpolo's craft's website.

The items are listed on this site in UK pounds, but the website can convert this into the currency you choose.

The products are all added to the site using GBP, then the website converts them to your chosen exchange rate, using the latest exchange rates from the European Central Bank. This is not controlled by anybody at SugarPolo's Crafts, your total true cost will be displayed in the final checkout.

It will be posted from my home in France by Priority La Poste postage (which is simular to Air Mail in the UK).

Delivery takes approx 3 to 6 working day (weekends not included) to the UK and Europe, approx 5 to 10 working day to America and approx 9 to 21 working days to Australia. (weekends not incuded in delivery times)

I will not be posting at the weekend or bank holidays.

RETURNS

I accept returns for clothing unworn, unused, and in original condition. Sales on knit or crochet customized clothing or clothing outside of my standard sizes are (in most cases) final.

Returns must be shipped to me within 14 business days of receipt with items placed back into any interior packaging in which they were initially wrapped for protection. (Include any paper work with invoice number within parcel) Customs forms are to be marked "retour de marchandise" ("returned goods") with value marked as "N/A".
For items shipped within France, returns are to be made within 7 calendar days of receipt.

Any returns I accept will be for exchange, store credit or refund minus shipping and packaging costs. (I make this decision myself according to the item and to what went wrong.) Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.

Full refunds are only given for items lost or damaged in the mail that have been shipped with full insurance or in the off chance that I sent the incorrect item due to fault on my part.

I do not accept returns, make exchanges or give refunds without prior communication over 14 days. I pride myself on excellent customer service and am responsive to all communication I receive, so I urge buyers to take advantage of that. Failure to contact me immediately upon receipt of the item and/or leaving feedback will imply acceptance of the item or transaction as is. Prior to any full refund, a claim will be submitted with the postal authorities and photographic proof will be required for damaged or incorrect items.

New European rules:
Sections 9 and 10 of the European directive dealing with the right of withdrawal. France relies in this regard, the 1997 Directive which states that a remote purchaser has 7 days to retract when the property is in his possession. But in terms of consumer protection. The new EU directive is clear, from June 2011. The buyer will now have 14 days to retract the signifier to the merchant, and another 14 days to return the product.
